Transition Training

Transition Training helps individuals more from a corporate environment to an independent portfolio career of which interim management is likely to play an important part.

The decision to leave the comforts of the corporate world for the uncertainty of an independent career is not an easy one and certainly it is not right for everyone. The forim training helps to identify those with the appropriate skills, competencies and motivation and advises on the initial stages of starting an independent career.

It starts with a psychometric assessment using the SHL Occupational Questionnaire series and an interest inventory. Once the assessment is competed a one-to one meeting is set up, usually in the institute of Directors in London, where a feedback session is conducted by a fully qualified assessor.

For those who wish to take up the independent option advice is then given on developing a Value Proposition, CV preparation, a review of any marketing material and producing an action plan.

For those for whom it is not such a good option advice is given on more conventional job search including CV preparation, routes to markets, interview techniques and networking.

The initial meeting usual takes half a day and includes further discussions over lunch. Further meetings and on-going support for 3 months, usually by telephone or e-mail are included in the price.
